Following incidents in the Borders area Police Scotland would encourage owners of agricultural machinery and utility vehicles to take the following steps to secure their property:

Comprehensive crime prevention advice can be obtained from your local Community Officer or the Police Scotland Safer Communities Team by telephoning 101.
Any suspicious activity should be reported to Police Scotland by calling 101, or alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111. For emergencies call 999.
