Fuel Tank Security Advice

Police Scotland have been responding to a rising number of calls regarding theft of fuel from domestic and commercial tanks across the North East.

There are a few simple precautions you can take to protect your fuel tank:

• Using lockable gates
• Fitting a locking fuel cap or alarm
• Install Security Lighting
• Check tank levels regularly
